Think Right for Software Solutions ("Think Right", "we") builds business software. This policy explains what our Android applications do with data.
In short: these are workplace applications used by staff of a business that has licensed them. They send data only to that business's own server. We do not operate an advertising network, we include no analytics or tracking libraries, and we do not sell or share data with third parties.
Who these apps are for
Think Right POS and Think Right Admin are not consumer apps. They are used by employees — cashiers, supervisors and owners — of a business that has licensed our software. Each business runs its own server and controls the data held on it. In data-protection terms, that business is the controller of the data, and Think Right acts on its instructions.
What the apps collect

What the apps do not collect
- No location data. The apps request no location permission.
- No contacts, photos, camera, microphone or files.
- No advertising identifiers, and no advertising of any kind.
- No analytics, usage tracking, behavioural profiling or crash-reporting services.
- No data is collected about you by Think Right for our own purposes.
The applications request only two Android permissions: internet access, and the ability to check whether a network connection is available — the latter so the app knows when it can synchronise.
Where data is sent
The apps communicate with exactly one destination: the server address configured on the device, which belongs to the business operating the software. There are no third-party endpoints, no advertising networks, and no analytics providers. Traffic is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.
Data kept on the device
Because these apps are designed to keep working when the network is down, orders and reference data are stored in a local database on the device until they have been synchronised. This local data is held in the app's private storage area, which Android isolates from other applications. Uninstalling the app removes it.
How long data is kept
Data on the device is retained until it has synchronised and the app's local records are cleared, or until the app is uninstalled. Data on the server is retained under the policies of the business that operates that server; Think Right does not control its retention.
Your rights and how to exercise them
If you are a member of staff using these apps, requests to access, correct or delete data should go to your employer, who controls the server and the records on it. If you contact us directly we will pass the request on and assist where we can, but we cannot reach into a customer's server on our own initiative.
Children
These are workplace applications. They are not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Security
All communication with the server uses HTTPS. Sign-in credentials are sent to the server for authentication and are not stored on the device; the app keeps only a session token. We do not have access to your business's server or its data unless you explicitly grant it to us for support purposes.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the apps handle data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
